Board-certified expertise for every breastfeeding challenge

Breastfeeding is natural, but it is not always intuitive — and the learning curve can feel overwhelming without the right guidance. Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) hold the highest credential in lactation care and bring clinical precision with the patience and cultural awareness that makes Cooings different. Whether you are working through a painful latch, building supply, managing engorgement, or navigating the return to work with a pump, we meet you exactly where you are and build a plan that works for your life.

What's Included

A full 60-minute in-home or virtual consultation with a board-certified IBCLC. Comprehensive latch, positioning, and oral assessment for your baby. Evaluation of milk transfer and supply. A written, personalized feeding plan you can reference daily. Post-session support via phone or text for 48 hours. Insurance billing assistance for covered plans including Kaiser, Medi-Cal, Cigna, Blue Shield, Carrot Fertility, and FSA/HSA reimbursement guidance.

Who It's For

New mothers experiencing latch pain, nipple damage, or low supply concerns. Parents of babies with tongue or lip ties who need pre- or post-revision support. Mothers returning to work who want a pumping and storage strategy. Families transitioning from NICU to home feeding. Anyone who has tried online advice and needs hands-on, expert guidance from a clinically trained professional.

How It Works

Book a session online or by phone — we offer appointments seven days a week. Before your visit, you fill out a brief intake covering your feeding history and goals. Your IBCLC arrives (or connects virtually), observes a live feeding, and performs a thorough assessment. She walks you through adjustments in real time so you can see and feel the difference immediately. You leave the session with a written plan, and she checks in within 48 hours. Most families see significant improvement after just one visit.
